Use caution traveling this morning – trees and power lines down

Maryville, Tennessee – Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong is asking citizens to use caution when traveling this morning. There are currently several trees and power lines down throughout the county due to the storm that moved through a short time ago. Deputies are out assessing roadways, and all utility companies are out restoring power in their areas at this time.
It appears the rain and storms have moved out of our area for the day, but more inclement weather, including snow, could be heading back into our area Tuesday night into Wednesday. Please keep an eye on the forecast so you can be prepared.
