Rock the Country Festival one day away

April 24, 2025

Maryville, Tennessee – Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong would like to remind citizens that the Rock the Country Festival at Maple Lane Farms in Greenback is one day away, and traffic around the event area is increasing as campers begin to arrive.

The festival is scheduled for Friday, April 25 through Saturday, April 26. Campers are arriving today, so those traveling around the area will see an increase in traffic throughout Thursday and continue all day Friday, Saturday, and into Sunday as campers and event staff depart. The main roads that will be affected are as follows:

Henry Lane
Morganton Road
Maple Lane
Gregory Road
Meadow Road
Lambert Road
Salem Road
Houston Springs Road

In addition, U.S. Highway 411 South and Brickmill Road will be affected as campers enter and exit Smoky Mountain Speedway for camper inspections.

Please refer to the Traffic Plan map. Traffic will flow in BOTH DIRECTIONS on all routes leading into and out of the event, but you should expect major delays, especially on Friday and Saturday. Kid Rock performs Saturday night, so expect traffic on these routes to be unusually heavier.

Deputies will be staged at all of the major intersections around Maple Lane Farms to ensure as smooth a traffic flow as possible. PLEASE EXERCISE PATIENCE AND EXPECT DELAYS! Event planners are expecting between 12,000 and 15,000 festival goers each day of the event, with more people on Saturday night for the Kid Rock concert. Deputies will also be staged inside the venue to provide security for festival attendees.

Sheriff Berrong reminds festival goers to have a good time, stay safe, and please exhibit good citizenship. There will be a zero-tolerance policy in place for attendees who do not abide by the law or who refuse to use common sense.
