FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sheriff's Office announces traffic plan for Luke Bryan Farm Tour concert

Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong announced the traffic plan for the Luke Bryan Farm Tour concert scheduled on Thursday, October 6th at Maple Lane Farm in Greenback.

The traffic plan will take affect beginning at approximately 10 p.m. in the area of Maple Lane Farm. Morganton Road will be closed to thru traffic from Maple Lane to Salem Road. In addition, both lanes of Lambert Road, Salem Road, Maple Lane, and Henry Lane will be ONE WAY leaving Maple Lane Farm. These roads will stay closed to thru traffic beginning at approximately 10 p.m. until all concert traffic has left the area. The Blount Sheriff's Office and Loudon County Sheriff's Office will post deputies at key intersections to direct traffic out of the area in Blount and Loudon counties. All traffic should be cleared out by 2 a.m.

The Sheriff's Office anticipates traffic will be heavy in the area of Maple Lane Farm throughout the day on October 6th. We are expecting about 16,000 people will attend the concert, along with 5,000 to 6,000 vehicles. The concert does not begin until 7 p.m., however, the parking areas on Maple Lane Farm will open at 2 p.m. The concert venue opens at 5 p.m.

Sheriff Berrong is asking that residents who live in the area of Maple Lane Farm to make advance alternate plans for any travel that evening, and to exercise patience. Emergency services will be staged in the area to respond to calls for service during the event.
